I am a Certified Colon therapist and highly skilled practitioner with extensive training, and I am fully certified by the International School for Colon Hydrotherapy and a member of International Association for Colon Hydrotherapy (I-ACT), an association with standards for education, training, guidelines of operation and certification. I am also a member of the Academy of Naturopaths and Naturaltherapists (A.N.N.) This allows for reimbursement with some extended health insurance companies (and/or receipt for income tax).

ABOUT ME

Hello and welcome, my name is Annick Parizeau-Plant and I am the owner of Acres Away. I am a licensed cosmetologist and worked in the field for many years. I eventually decided to expand. I studied and worked in the Human Services field and found myself not feeling well and as time went on I started to feel sicker. This was the turning point for me in my life and decided to look for alternative health options. Colon hydrotherapy, colonic irrigation changed and improved my life, along with many other lifestyle changes. Most of my life I can remember struggling with constipation but the last few years it seemed to worsen. I started to feel sick, nauseated, tired, irritable, irregular menstrual cycle, headaches, lack of energy, chronic fatigue and feelings of depression. My body just didn't seem to be working in balance. I truly believe that my body was toxic and if I didn't do something about it, it would only make matters worse; it is said that diseases start in the intestines. That is when I began colon hydrotherapy and a healthier lifestyle. Now, I still exercise, I eat more alive foods, organic fruits and veggies, sprouts, fish, and the right combination of foods. It was a long process and not easy, but I do feel great and my family's lifestyle is healthier as well. There is no point in living longer lives if we are not living healthier lives.
